Sandwiches

I don't really plan to make food unless I find a recipe online. With sandwiches, most of the times I try to put improvise with what I have at home. Sometimes when I'm strolling through the supermarket, I would suddenly get a small wave of ambition. I would buy a few ingredients off the top of my head and try to fuse them together once I get home. I wish I could make these types of sandwiches more often but it's just a fair amount of work that I'm not willing to do.

I bought a baguette, sliced it respectively and put cucumbers (the best vegetable), parsley, sun-dried tomatoes, and...wait for it...canned tuna. It was pretty much an expensive tuna sandwich but to be fair the tuna was from Italy. In the forest of sandwich contents, I topped the insides with some of my homemade balsamic dressing. The baguette was also toasted a little bit for that extra texture, I love texture in my food and this lazy meal right here was bursting with texture and un mezclado de sabor (a mix of taste).

I bought another baguette.
The afternoon hunger came upon me and I needed to quell it. There was some cherry tomatoes and chicken in the fridge so I decided to throw together another 'sandwich'. I hastily cut the cherry tomatoes in half since it's so much different eating them whole than sliced. I put the tomatoes in some balsamic vinegar and also some sliced garlic. The flavor and smell of the tomatoes was robust due to the sweet acidity of the balsamic vinegar and also the pungent scent of garlic. I 'grilled' (more like pan-grilled), some chicken and threw it on the crusty baguette. I also tried to toast the baguette but it turned out pretty horrible and stale. Feel your bread, people.

Here is just a pretty normal sandwich with some parsley, tomatoes, smoked ham and probably sun-dried tomatoes too. Some olive oil is added for taste but nothing too amazing. Why did I post this anyways?
